The use of video interviews especially for overseas recruitment, has more than doubled over the past year, but how much time is wasted with failed or poor Internet connections?
Global healthcare talent marketing company HealthSectorTalent (HST) formerly HealthSectorJobs, has recently launched a new recruitment advertising product exclusively for employers that it believes will transform overseas nurse recruitment.
Managed video interviews is the latest in a range of digital healthcare recruitment advertising products from HST that sees each Client receiving their own employer branded advertising campaign targeting candidates that meet their specific hiring criteria and target market. The successful applicants are then invited to physically attend a dedicated interview centre in the target country and the video interviews are managed on-site by the team from HST.
According to Stephen McLarnon, Chief Executive of HST “we believe our managed video interviews has the potential to transform overseas nurse recruitment by enabling employers to advertise their jobs in international markets and then use video to interview them directly, bypassing agencies.”
McLarnon adds, “we believe this is a potential game-changer for NHS Trusts as we saw in June with Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust whom interviewed 34 nurses in Australia over four days and made 33 job offers using our managed video interviews.”
