The NHS employs more 170,000 Allied Health Professionals across 14 professions including Art, Drama and Music Therapists as well as Podiatrists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Operating Department Practitioners, Orthoptists, Osteopaths, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Prosthetists, Radiographers and Speech and Language Therapists.
With allied health shortages emerging across the NHS, more than 10,000 vacancies exist for AHPs with paramedics, podiatrists, radiographers and, speech and language therapists amongst the most severe.
According to Stephen McLarnon, Chief Executive of HST, “We already have individually branded job fairs for both doctors and nurses, but our clients, many of whom are leading NHS Trusts, asked if we would also run an event for AHPs. This is how our Allied Healthcare Job Fair in both London and Dublin came about.”
McLarnon adds, “Our Nursing & Midwifery Job Fair has gone from strength to strength over the past number of years and is now taking place in 5 cities around the world including London and Dublin as well as Melbourne, Toronto and Abu Dhabi. We also expect our Allied Healthcare Job Fair to grow into overseas markets over the coming years.”
Book your stand today and join leading employers already confirmed to exhibit including the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
For AHPs interested in attending the job fair, admission is free, but registration is required.
